Watermelon Festival Updates
HOPE – The Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce has announced updates to the upcoming Watermelon Festival activities.
Watermelon Olympics (business competition) will NOT move downtown. The Olympics will take place on Thursday, August 5 at 5:30 in the park! Get ready for some crazy fun business vs business!
Eli’s Camels will return to the Hope Watermelon Festival! If you have not ridden the camels at the festival, you need to hop on and take a ride!
Hello to Food Trucks:
Popeye’s will return!
The Crepe Coop will join us this year! Not only do they offer crepe’s (too many choices to list) but they also offer grilled salmon and other delicious menu items.
ShoBo’s Kitchen joins us for the first time! Philly Cheesesteaks and Grilled Cajun Alfredo are just a few of their specialties.
Must give a shout out to Rusty Wheels Engine Show! They are always a big favorite at the festival!
