Washington holding July 4 event

WASHINGTON – Historic Washington will be open and have its July 4 event this year.

The event is free and open to the public. There will be a reading and signing of the Declaration of Independence. The event will be July 3-5 with readings at 10:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. at the 1874 courthouse. After the readings visitors can sign their own copy of the Declaration to take home.
