Hope Civitan Hears Program on “Relay For Life”

The Hope Civitan Club heard from Dave Phillips, a representative of the local American Cancer Society Relay for Life organization, at its June 22 meeting.   Dave, also a member of Civitan, presented an update on plans to revive the event following two years of cancellation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.  He said Relay’s year begins around August-September and a fall kickoff is in the works, to be followed by the outdoor relay in the spring, if Covid restrictions are still lifted.  Pictured with Dave is Hope Civitan President Eva Morehead.
