Compared to two weeks ago: Feeder steers under 450 lbs. steady; over 450 lbs. 5.00-10.00 lower. Feeder heifers 5.00-12.00 lower. Slaughter cows steady to 1.00 higher. Slaughter bulls 1.00 lower. Quality was plain to average. Buyer participation was limited. No sale next week due to 4th of July holiday. Next sale July 15th. Supply included: 89% Feeder Cattle (65% Steers, 28% Heifers, 7% Bulls); 10% Slaughter Cattle (90% Cows, 10% Bulls); 2% Replacement Cattle (40% Bred Cows, 60% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 17%.
