Hope Watermelon Festival Parade Part 1

The first Hope Watermelon Festival Parade since the 1980’s drew quite a few participants.  Not only did the parade draw plenty of contestants to the Little Miss and Little Mr. Watermelon Pageant, but a number of political candidates were on hand as well including Lt. Governor candidates Joseph Wood and Doyle Webb, State Commissioner of Lands Tommy Land, and Attorney General Leslie Rutledge who is a candidate for Governor.  The Watermelon Festival is set for August 5th through 7th.
