Courthouse closed Friday, reverting to COVID protocols

PRESCOTT – Because of the increase in COVID-19 cases in the area, the Nevada County Courthouse will be closed all day Friday, Aug. 6.

While the courthouse is closed, a crew will come in and sanitize the building. On Monday, Aug. 9, however, the doors of the courthouse will be locked as the courthouse will be reverting to its 2020 COVID protocols, according to Nevada County Judge Mark Glass. Those needing to enter the building will need to be wearing a mask and call to be let in.
