PRESCOTT – Some people are natural born businessmen.

Such is the case of William Cooper, Jr., who’s spent most of this week selling lemonade on Hwy. 67 to raise money to buy his own clothes for school. Cooper, 6, has been selling lemonade every day but Tuesday and has raised around $400, selling lemonade at $1 a glass. To stay sanitary and safe, a slotted spoon is used to scoop ice from ice chests. Quite a few people simply stop by and make donations to the young entrepreneur.

Cooper will be in the first grade at Prescott Elementary School this year and be in Pauline Williams’ class. He’s the son of Danielle and William, Sr.

He will be going shopping Saturday for his clothes.
