Prescott Golf Team Defeats Smackover
By Staff, 08/17/21 6:49 PMThe Prescott Golf teams were successful in their first match of the year August 9th when they played against Smackover. The Prescott Boys defeated Smackover with a total score of 166 compared to 186 for Smackover. Medalist for Prescott was Jace Cummings who shot 48. Pete Willis shot 56 and Rhett Bullinger shot 62.
The varsity girls of Prescott defeated Smackover’s varsity team with a score of 159 while Smackover’s total was over 160. Kamryn Collier had the low score with 49. Brooke Formby shot 54, Chloe Grimes 56, and Kelsie Harvey 59.
The Prescott Jr. Varsity girls shot 176 in the match. Lainey Robbins shot 57, Caytlee Poole shot 59, Kadence Formby shot 60 and Georgie Crain shot a 66.

The teams were scheduled to taken on Camden Harmony Grove Wednesday and Arkadelphia, DeQueen, Hope and Camden at the DeGray Golf Course Thursday.
