William Hubbard
Mr. William “Bill” A. Hubbard, age 59 of Prescott, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2021 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Bill was born February 24, 1962 to Ed and Mary Webb Hubbard in Prescott, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his father, Ed Hubbard.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Judith Shuler Hubbard, and his sons, Thomas and John. He is also survived by his mother, Mary, brothers Carlton (Juanita) and Joe (Tina), and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Bill worked as a lineman with the City of Prescott Electric Department for 27 years. He retired as a Sergeant First Class with the Arkansas Army National Guard after serving for 23 years. He was a Master Mason in Prescott Lodge #80 for 26 years. He was Assistant Chief of the Prescott Fire Department after 28 years of service. He was also an Elder of Tates Bluff Presbyterian Church.
Bill enjoyed spending time with his family and friends watching Razorback football and baseball. He was a mean griller, and he loved camping at White Oak State Park, especially at Halloween.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 22, 2021, at BRAZZEL/Cornish, 1196 Hwy 371, Prescott, AR 71857.
Funeral service will be at 5:00 p.m. Monday, August 23, 2021, at First Baptist Church in Prescott. Bro. Mike Suttle and Bro. Frank Henson will be officiating. Burial will follow at DeAnn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Arkansas Children’s Hospital at 1 Children’s Way, Little Rock, AR 72202.
