HOPE – Members of Lonoke Baptist Church, pastored by Rev. Alvin Hunter, got some help from Clinton Primary
School kindergarten students presenting a cartload of non-perishable food items, along with clothing
and a $500 cash gift to the CPS food pantry/clothes closet of the CPS Parent Center Program. CPS
Parent Center Coordinator Gina Karber said the donation will be used for twice-weekly food bags for
students in need to take home, as well as clothing provided as needed. Making the presentation to
Karber and the students, center, were, left to right, Chester Pree, Norma Henry, Margaret Moss, Odell
Gulley and Arnell Stuart.
