HOPE – If you interested in introducing your business, civic club or family to a ministry that impacts children and families world-wide, an Operation Christmas Child Project Leader Workshop is coming to Hope September 11th.
Operation Christmas Child sends millions of shoeboxes each year around the globe to children who have most likely never received a gift before. Organizers say the shoebox and its contents are not the goal, though. “With each shoebox comes a Gospel presentation, and it is estimated that one shoebox exposes around 10 people to the good news of Jesus.”
If you want to know more about how you can be involved, a Project Leader Workshop is coming to First Baptist Church, 315 South Main in Hope Saturday, September 11th from 10:00-11:30 am.(Door prizes and refreshments served)
“Who is a Project Leader? Someone who leads a group in packing shoeboxes. There are no extraordinary credentials required – just a heart for helping children in need!”
