Prescott Golf Team Competes In Hope August 30th, Prescott Girls Defeat Horatio
By Staff, 08/31/21 4:36 PMThe Prescott Golf teams competed at the Hope County Club on Monday August 30th. Teams competing included Spring Hill, Mineral Springs, Horatio, and Foreman. Some of the schools were unable to field complete teams.
The Prescott Boys ultimately had two finish the course. Jace Cummings shot 42 and Rhett Bullinger shot 64. Spring Hill’s varsity boys shot collectively 140. The Foreman Boys shot 195.
In Girls Play, the Prescott Girls bested Horatio by one shot. Prescott’s Varsity Team posted a 155. Kamryn Collier shot 48, Brooke Formby 50, Chloe Grimes 57, and Lainey Robbins 59. The Spring Hill Girls shot 181. The Horatio girls shot 155. The Prescott Jr. Varsity Girls shot 198. Caytlee Poole, Georgie Crain, and Kaygen Klutts all shot 63 with Kadence Formby shot 64.
The rest of the teams did not have a complete four-person team.
