Hope police log
On October 4, 2021 at approximately 6:19pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Haret Castellon, 23, of Hope, AR and charged him with battery in the 2nd degree, driving while intoxicated, and driving on suspended driver’s license. The arrest occurred in the 2000 block of West Avenue E in Hope, AR. Castellon was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
On October 5, 2021 at approximately 1:30pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested James Talley, 33, of Waldo, AR and charged him with rape, and sexual assault in the 2nd degree. The arrest occurred in the 300 block of South Washington Street in Hope, AR. Talley was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
On October 10, 2021 at approximately 3:16am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Kharie Anderson, 27, of Hope, AR and charged him with terroristic act, battery in the 3rd degree, and served a foreign warrant service. The arrest occurred in the 14500 block of North Hervey Street in Hope, AR. Anderson was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
