Superheroes descend on Nevada County rodeo

PRESCOTT – Possibly the safest place in the world to be Saturday evening was the rodeo arena at the Nevada County Fairgrounds.

This is because there were several superheroes on hand to protect and entertain the audience. Among the heroes present were: Supergirl, Wonder Woman, Spiderman, the Hulk and Batman. Actually, these “heroes” were members of the Red Dirt Rider precision equestrian drill team, who strutted their stuff in the arena.

As this rodeo was basically for youngsters, they had fun with the different competitions, all vying to be number one in their event of choice.
