Parker D. Cooper, age 26 of Texarkana, AR, formerly of Hope, AR, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021 in Nashville, TN. He was born July 31, 1995 to Doug and Sondra in Texarkana. Parker often volunteered with Heritage Hospice and worked with the youth at Oasis Community Church in Texarkana. He was kind-hearted and will be missed by many. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Betty Cooper.
Those left to cherish his memory are his father, Doug Cooper (Sarah) of Texarkana; mother, Sondra Melton of Hope; one brother, John Williams of Texarkana; two sisters, Raeleigh Cooper (Zach Warren) of Texarkana and Ella Williams of Doddridge, AR. Grandparents: David and Glynda Parker of Hope, AR; JT Cooper (Gail) of Texarkana, AR; John Dobbins (Sallye) of Texarkana, AR. He also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Pinson Hospital Hospitality House, Angel Flight South Central, or Garrett Memorial Christian School.
Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 PM Saturday, October 23, 2021 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home, 1001 S Main, Hope, AR.
Funeral service to be held 3:00 PM Sunday, October 24, 2021 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest. Bro. Tim Montgomery, Bro. Mark Fischer, and Bro. Neal Ridling to officiate.
