Donald Lively of Hope is presented the prize of a Klipsch wireless tabletop stereo speaker by Civitan Jerry Pruden, who sold him the winning ticket in a recent raffle conducted by the Hope Civitan Club.  The speaker was donated to the club by Klipsch to be raffled, with proceeds to fund local Civitan projects.  The motto of Civitan is “builders of good citizenship” and the local club completes projects that fall within the wording of the Civitan Creed, to “do the work of the world and reach out in service to others.”  The Hope Civitan Club meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. at Dos Loco Gringos Restaurant.
