Nevada’s NJHS collects food for needy

ROSSTON – Nevada High School’s National Junior Honor Society organized a canned food drive for Harvest Regional Food Bank during the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving. The students created flyers for the drive and even hosted a friendly contest among the grades in which the club awarded one prize for elementary and one prize for high school. The goal of the students was to give back to others and in this mission they succeeded as they successfully collected more than 650 food items. Below are photos from the food drive:
