PRESCOTT – Congratulations to Southern Pines Health & Rehabilitation on being named the December 2021 Business of the Month.

Southern Pines Health & Rehab opened its doors in 1967. The facility is owned and operated by Joey Wiggins and Joann Hall. With Current Administrator Deanna Prejean and Director of Nursing Amanda Love.

Southern Pines Health & Rehab is a 111-bed facility, providing long – term care placement, as well as hospice care and respite services to the community. They provide rehabilitative services which include speech, occupational therapy, and physical therapy. They have specialized in house programs including an on-site Nurse Practitioner, Telehealth services, wound care, and chronic disease management. Their focus is providing a safe, home like environment for their Residents.

In 2020 the facility began partnering with a healthcare associated infection control technology program. They have state of the are disinfection and sanitation equipment to help reduce the risk of infections, including COVID-19.
