Mr. George Powell, age 81 of Hope, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at his home. He was born February 8, 1940 to Kull and Mattie Biddle Powell, in Guernsey, Arkansas. George was a retired millwright and attended Calvary Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Sarah Ellen Powell, two sons Gary Powell and Randall Powell, one brother Jimmy Powell, and one sister Katherine Ward.

George is survived by 2 sons, Dewayne Powell (Crystal) of Prescott, AR and Chris Powell of Smackover, AR; one sister Maxine Worbes of Hope, AR; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held 1:00pm to 2:00pm Sunday, December 5, 2021 at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home, 1001 S Main Hope, AR 71801.

Funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00pm at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home, with Bro. Charles Jones and Bro. Oliver McKamie officiating. Burial at Watercreek Cemetery in Guernsey, AR.
