In loving memory of Michael Roy Surles from Washington, AR. He was born on January 5, 1956, and passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021.

Preceded in death by his parents Bennie Joe and Sandra Surles and son Shane Surles.

Survived by Donna Surles (wife); sisters Cynthia Hall (Jack) of Taylor, TX, Jo Owings (Jeff) of Malvern, AR; daughters Natasha Brown of Craig, CO, Misty Sanders (Tommy) of Romance, AR; 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mike was a loving husband to wife Donna for 46 years. The two were married in Emmet, AR. After retiring in Wiggins, CO he returned to Washington, AR to pursue his passion of farming. He loved hunting and fishing. Mike was a devoted Christian and member of Harvest Baptist Church. Mike was a respected pillar of his community.

Victory over death

Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 pm held at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home in Hope on Saturday, December 4, 2021. Graveside service will follow at Bright Star Cemetery with Jack Hall officiating, under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Michael Jones, Travis Hollinshead, Timothy Sanders, Jason Almond, Wesley Almond, Shane Almond, Jack Glass, and Charlie Owings.
