Mr.Clayton Harold Rhodes

Mr. Clayton “Speck” Harold Rhodes, age 63, of Hope, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at his home. He was born December 4, 1958 to Clay and Bonnie Griffin Rhodes, in Weiser, Idaho. He was a warehouse manager at Southern Electric and a member of Providence Baptist Church. Speck enjoyed spending time with family, hunting and riding his motorcycle. He is preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Rhodes.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 39 years, Mellisia Rhodes of Hope, AR; father, Clay Rhodes of Springhill, AR; one son, Joshua Rhodes (Lauren) of Malvern, AR; one daughter, Lisa Rhodes of Texarkana, AR; two brothers, Jon Rhodes (Lisa) of McNab, AR, Michael Joe Rhodes (Chasity) of Springhill, AR; two sisters, Rebecca Rhodes of Texarkana, AR, Janisa Newcome of Tennessee; one grandchild, Tommi Sue Grigson. He is also survived by brothers-in-law, Mike Cox (Judy), Travis Cox (Betty); numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held 2:00pm to 3:00pm Sunday, December 12, 2021 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home of Hope. Funeral service will immediately follow at 3:00pmwith Bro. Glen Shults officiating. Burial will be at Patmos Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Patmos Community Park or Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
