Car Fire Monday Morning at 601 East 2nd in Hope

There were no injuries in a car fire about 9:45am Monday at 601 East 2nd.  As the fire was just a couple of blocks from the main fire station, firemen were quickly on the scene.  There was no indication at the scene as to the cause of the fire but the Mustang had a visibly scorched hood and firemen had to hose down the engine compartment.  In addition to the fire department, the Hope Police and Pafford EMS responded to the fire.
