Last Month of 2021 Unusual
By Mark Keith, 01/8/22 2:45 AM2021 is in the books and the final month of the year was unusual in its warmth. December 2021 saw 17 days with high temperatures in the 70’s and two days, December 11th and 26th, where the high was 80 degrees. The low temperature was 25 on December 12th.
Despite some below average rain totals, the end of year tally on rainfall was above average. 4.58 inches of rain was received in December compared to an average of 5.38 inches. The year to date rainfall was 56.77 inches compared to normal rainfall of 54.47 inches.
