Leonard Eddy

Mr. Leonard M. Eddy, age 90, of Hope, AR passed away Monday, May 30, 2022 in Hope. Leonard was born April 26, 1932 in Stamps, AR to Odis and Thelma Cheatham Eddy. He was employed as Director and Professor of The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Library and as Director and Professor of The University of Louisville Kornhauser Health Sciences Library. He retired in 1994 from The University of Louisville. Leonard was also a United States Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Maxine Eddy Heminger.

Survivors include his wife, JoAnn Bristow Eddy; two sons, Stephen Eddy (Robin) of Moore, OK and Paul Eddy (Karen) of Beaumont, TX; three grandchildren, Matt Eddy of Oklahoma City, OK, Liz Eddy of Washington, DC, and Garrick Campsey (Aundrea) of Beaumont, TX.

Visitation will be 4:00pm to 6:00pm Friday June 3, 2022, at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest 1001 South Main Hope, Arkansas 71801

Graveside service will be 10:00am Saturday June 4, 2022 at Westmoreland Cemetery with Bro. Daniel Bramlett officiating. Burial will follow with military honors.
