On August 23, 2022 at approximately 9:38pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Thomas Knighten, 40, of Foreman, AR. Mr. Knighten was arrested and charged with theft by receiving and served a foreign warrant service. The arrest occurred in the 800 block of South Main Street in Hope, AR. Mr. Knighten was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
On August 24, 2022 at approximately 4:38pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Michael Nelson, 18, Hope, AR. Mr. Nelson was arrested and charged with 2 counts of sexual assault in the 2nd degree, and 2 counts of sexual indency with a child. The arrest occurred in the 300 block of South Washington Street in Hope, AR. Nelson was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
On August 25, 2022 at approximately 8:02am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested James Carlton, 55, of Hope, AR. Mr. Carlton was arrested and charged with possession of controlled substance methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while intoxicated, and refusal to submit to BAC. The arrest occurred in the 400 block of South Main Street in Hope, AR. Carlton was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
On August 27, 2022 at approximately 10:30pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested James Loudermilk, 61, of Atlanta, TX. Mr. Loudermilk was arrested and charged with domestic battery in the 2nd degree and domestic battery in the 3rd degree. The arrest occurred in the 700 block of West Park Drive in Hope, AR. Loudermilk was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
On August 28, 2022 at approximately 1:33pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Kendaris Flowers, 24, of Hope, AR. Mr. Flowers was arrested and charged with unlawful discharge of a firearm from a vehicle. The arrest occurred in the 800 block of North Main Street in Hope, AR. Flowers was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
