Michael Nelson Charged With Sexual Assault and Sexual Indecency With A Child

On August 24, 2022 at approximately 4:38pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Michael Nelson, 18, Hope, AR. Mr. Nelson was arrested and charged with 2 counts of sexual assault in the 2nd degree, and 2 counts of sexual indecency with a child. The arrest occurred in the 300 block of South Washington Street in Hope, AR. Nelson was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
