Dirty deeds at Leadership Christmas party
PRESCOTT – Dirty deeds abounded at the Leadership Nevada County Christmas Party Tuesday afternoon.
The event was held at the home of Mary Godwin, executive director of the Prescott-Nevada County Economic Development Office, with a game of dirty Santa culminating the festivities.
Of course, a business meeting was held first, with the board informed there will be 11 candidates for the 2023 Leadership program. Orientation is scheduled for Jan. 12-13 at Lake Degray and will include a lake tour and a chance to look for eagles. The course will take a year to complete.
Once business was done, the fun began with board members picking gifts, seeing if it was something they wanted and, in several instances, seeing the gift they picked swiped by someone else – all in good fun. No one went home empty-handed and everyone had fun.
Prescott Mayor Terry Oliver made a new friend as a kitten, Tom-Tom, enjoyed resting on the mayor’s chest and being cuddled.
