PRESCOTT – Nevada County had its Christmas meal catered by Taters and Tails Seafood Thursday.
The party was held at the community center with the majority of county employees attending. They were served fish, chicken, fries, hush puppies, cole slaw, tomato relish and onions.
The employees lined up and filled their plates, several taking boxes to go after they were done. To go boxes were also filled for those working at the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office.
County offices will be closed Friday and Monday for the Christmas holiday. There will be no trash pick up on these days. Trash pick up will resume Tuesday, Dec. 27, with routes being a day behind.
