Marquavious Monk Charged With Aggravated Assault, Maryana Perez Charged With Domestic Battery

On January 25, 2023 at approximately 9:45am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Maryana Perez, 19, of Hope, AR and Marquavious Monk, 19, of Hope, AR. Ms. Perez was arrested and charged with domestic battery in the 2nd degree. Mr. Monk was arrested and charged with aggravated assault on a family member and domestic battery in the 2nd degree. The arrest occurred in the 400 block of North Margaret Street in Hope, AR. Ms. Perez and Mr. Monk was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
