CADC offers drop off tax service

The CADC/Prescott Nevada County Library Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Site is operating on a drop-off/pick-up basis.

FILING TAXES – Filing taxes for individuals and families in 2022, free tax help is available February 4th – April 18th.

The Central Arkansas Development Council will have a VITA volunteer at the Prescott/Nevada County Library to help prepare tax returns for individuals and families. These returns will be prepared and e-filed by IRS-certified volunteers.

Those taking advantage of this need to bring a valid photo ID, their W-2 and/or 1099, 1095A or other Marketplace insurance forms, Social Security cards for all being claimed on the return, last year’s taxes and a check for routing and account numbers so refunds can be made via direct deposit.

Volunteers will be at the library offering contactless drop-off services on:

(CURBSIDE DROP-OFF/PICK UP ONLY)

  • Tuesdays from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.
  • Wednesdays from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.
  • Thursdays from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m.
  • Saturdays from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. (2/4, 3/4, and 4/1) ONLY
