Hope’s Mae Estes Makes Grand Ole Opry Debut

Hope’s Mae Estes made her debut on the Grand Ole Opry Saturday night.  A host of fans, family, and well-wishers made the journey to Nashville to see Estes and many more were tuned in online.   The man with the dobro backing Estes is Josh Matheny, a Nashville musician, songwriter, and performer who grew up in Magnolia.  Estes also visited with Opry Star Jeannie Seely whom she met at this past year’s Arkansas Country Music Awards.  Estes is nominated for “Country Artist of the Year” and “Female Vocalist of the Year” at this year’s awards.  Hempstead Hall is nominated for “Venue of the Year”.
