PUBLIC EDUCATION EMPLOYEES INVITED TO APPLY FOR GRANTS THROUGH ARKANSAS RETIRED TEACHERS ASSOCIATION

LITTLE ROCK, AR – Arkansas public school educators and employees are invited to apply now for the 2023-24 ARTA Grants.

The Grants are awarded in two categories.

The Parsons-Burnett Grants are for current educators (certified) to further their own education. Awards are intended for courses of study leading to an advanced degree, certification or endorsement.

The Mitchell-Fair Grants are for currently classified employees who are pursuing teacher licensure.

Grant applications must be submitted online between March 15 and June 15.

The grants are funded by contributions from members of the Arkansas Retired Teachers Association, or ARTA. ARTA is a professional organization of Arkansas’s public education retirees.
