Jimmie Wicker

Jimmie L. Wicker, 85, of Prescott passed away Sunday, April 2, 2023 at his home.

Mr. Wicker was born November 5, 1937 to Harlon Wicker and Allie Mae Campbell in Laneburg, AR.

Mr. Wicker was self-employed logger under contract to Prescott Land and Timber Company. He served in the National Guard and was a member of Laneburg United Pentecostal Church.

Mr. Wicker is preceded by his parents, Harlon and Allie Mae Wicker; 2 sisters Virginia Spells and Bobbie Butcher; daughter, Joan Marie Wicker; brother, Bo Wicker; and sister, Mary Johnson and stepmother Lucille Wicker.

Mr. Wicker is survived by his wife of 67 years, Margie Wicker; son, Donald Wicker of Emmet; daughters, Janet Strauser (Randy) of Corsicana, TX and Anita Harp (Johnny) of Millwood, AR; brothers, J.R. Wicker of Hope and David Wicker (Jeanette) of Camden; 9 grandchildren, Brian Wicker, Adam Wicker, Katelyn Fomby (Jeff), Holly McKinnon Newton, Jessica Allen, Jasmine Allen Haygood (Heath), Heather Slotvig (Robert), Dale Strauser (Jennifer), Eric Strauser (Jessica); 11 great-grandchildren; and many other friends and family.

Visitation 2:00-3:00pm Friday, April 7, 2023 at Brazzel-Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott. Funeral Service will be follow at 3:00pm with Bro. Mike Steed officiating.
