Nevada County Judge Proclaims Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention Month

Nevada County Judge Mike Otwell proclaimed April as “Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention Month in Nevada County” on Wednesday April 19th.  The proclamation encourages everyone in the county to become more aware of child abuse prevention and consider helping parents raise their children in a safe, nurturing environment.  More than 35,000 children in Arkansas are reported as abused or neglected each year.
