Delta Kappa Gamma Contributes to Huck’s Military CARE Packages

The local chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma made a donation Wendesday of $250 to Huck’s Military CARE Packages. DKG is an international society for key women educators. Representing the local chapter of DKG were Kay McCorkle, Dana Cox, and Diana Keith.

12 year old Huck Plyler of Spring Hill has compiled and sent nearly 2,000 “CARE” packages to active duty U.S. military personnel around the world. For this effort he’s received recognition from several organizations. Most notably, he was recognized by 4th District Congressman Bruce Westerman in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Huck is the son of Briana and Caleb Plyler. In addition to his school work, Huck is an avid cattle farmer.
