Hope Baking Company Cuts Ribbon

Any day is a good day for a ribbon cutting for a new business and Wednesday the official scissors were used to launch Hope Baking Company located at the former Southern Bakery facilities. There was a great turnout for the event and everyone had an opportunity to meet new owner Dan Seera and his Mom. Seera thanked everyone from the community, the legislative support and the Hope/Hempstead Economic Development Council for making the deal possible. Seera said, “Our biggest asset here isn’t the building, it’s the people inside. People who care and are devoted. This building has 300 of them. And, when you find that many in one place, it’s a no-brainer.” Here’s wishing all the best to Seera and crew!
