Intersections closing for repairs

PRESCOTT – Motorists in Prescott need to be aware of intersections being closed Tuesday, May 23.

According to Bruce Bean, office manager for the city of Prescott, Union Pacific Railroad will be working on the gates at the various intersections in town, with the exception of the one at Main and Hwy. 67. However, crews with the Prescott Street Department will be working to replace a utility pole at Main and 67 that day as well.

Traffic will be flagged through the intersection at Main and 67. An alternative for motorists needing to get from one side of town to the other, will be to use the Howard Taylor Overpass connecting Hay.67 to E. 2nd St. S.
