One dead, one injured in crash

MINERAL SPRINGS – A Thursday evening one vehicle crash in rural Howard County between Tollette and Mineral Springs killed a Texarkana man and injured a Fulton area resident. According to the preliminary report from the Arkansas State Police, a 2004 Ford Ranger driven by Ronnie Henderson, Jr., 52, of Texarkana, Arkansas was traveling north on Highway 355 when it exited the roadway to the west. State Police said the pickup re-entered the roadway and started overturning, before leaving the roadway again to the east, impacting a utility pole and fence before coming to rest on the driver’s side.

Henderson was killed. Injured was Jerry Clayton, 26, with a rural Fulton address. He was taken to Wadley Regional Medical Center in Texarkana. State Police Corporal Kyle Jones was the investigating officer.
