Hope Farmers Market

The Hope Farmer’s Market was held at the Hub on Tuesday and did well despite the rain. Market Manager Deanna Gilbert was pleased with the results.  At the market were more blueberries this week, tomatoes and eggplant for the first time of the season, cucumbers, squashes, carrots, potatoes, cauliflower, honey, breads and pastries as well as meat. A couple of vendors had some nice flower displays. The university of Arkansas Division of Agriculture Research and Extension Service had a table set up with recipe books and healthy food to sample.
