Businesses at job fair looking to hire

PRESCOTT – A job fair will be held at the Potlatch Building Thursday, June 15, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.

This is to help workers displaced by Holcim find new jobs. Booths will be set up inside the building and the job fair is open to anyone either looking for a new job or a better job. There is no cost to attend and applications will be taken on site.

The job fair is being put on by the Prescott-Nevada County Economic Development Office. Businesses represented include: Aeorojet Rocketdine, Paramount Fuels, Stayton and Associates, Love’s Travel Center, Historic Old Washington State Park, Georgia Pacific- Gurdon, Arkansas Department of Transportation district office, Nevada County Sheriff’s Office, UAHT Career Pathfinders, UAHT Education, UAHT Enrollment, Rainbow of Challenges, Brentwood Industries, Hope Baking Co., Manpower, Spectra Tech, Arkansas Department of Workforce Services, SAU-Tech, Arkansas Dept. of Corrections, Ouachita Unit, Albermarle, Pafford, Southwest Planning and Development District, AHDC and APS.
