Dr. Crossley Speaks To Civitan

Hope Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Jonathan Crossley spoke to the Hope Civitan Club at its regular meeting on June 13.  Dr. Crossley is pictured, along with Civitan President Mona Still, holding a brochure that covers frequently asked questions about the millage increase being sought by HPS.  The millage election is set for August 8.  Dr. Crossley said the 12 mill increase will bring Hope schools nearer the level of other area and state school districts and will be used for facilities improvements at Yerger Middle School, Clinton Primary, Beryl Henry Elementary and Hope High School, as well as for staff recruitment and retention.  HPS, at 34.7 mills, currently ranks 200th out of 225 in district millage statewide.  For additional information, Dr. Crossley can be reached at jonathan.crossley@hpsdistrict.org.
