Juneteenth Pageant

Juneteenth included a lively fashion pageant which was well attended. It was in honor of the children and they were nicely dressed up and showed off for the audience.

There was Formal Wear, Casual Wear and Juneteenth outfits.

Merchelle Morrison Thomas organized the phonathon and raised $700 for the event. She stated we are all royalty. Thomas said she works in a preschool and wanted to do something for the children.

Lorie Morrison led the prayer and said it was about the children.

Ganelle Thomas was the MC for the Back National Anthem.

There was a Father’s Day Basket, which was won by Mario Moser.

The winners were: Princess: Ms. Nyla Jones, runner-up Aleia Alexandra, Prince Kayson Williams and runner-up Kaza Barry.

There was also a tap-dance performance as a Dance performance.
