Second Love’s opening soon

PRESCOTT – A second Love’s will be opening in Prescott soon, possibly within the next four to six weeks.

The company will be hosting a job fair ta the Hampton Inn in Hope from 8a.m. until 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 26. Mary Godwin, executive director of the Prescott-Nevada County Economic Development Office, said those interested in applying for jobs with Love’s should come dressed for an interview. Approximately 60 people will be hired, though 100 will be working there when all is said and done. There will be at least four management positions open.

The Hampton Inn is located at 2700 N. Hervey in Hope.

The new Love’s, Godwin said, will include a Bojangle’s Chicken and a fresh market. The fresh market will serve sandwiches, fruits, salads, tacos, parfait and desserts from a cooler. Everything in the fresh market will be made fresh daily.

Along with the standard fare at Love’s, there will be five spaces for recreational vehicles where they can be hooked up for overnight stay. There will also be seven gas pumps, with the ones on the end cap being diesel fuel, premixed with DEF. The Speedco Tire portion will open roughly a month after the new store opens. It will also include seven complete showers and a mini laundromat.
