Tractor-Trailer Crash Leaves Nacho Cheese on I-30 West Bound Near 40 Mile-Marker in Nevada County

A two-vehicle accident caused no serious injuries but had a “cheesy” outcome Tuesday (8-1) when a tractor-trailer rig involved in the accident lost a load of nachol cheese.  The accident occurred in the westbound lane and resulted in both lanes being closed for a time and traffic diverted to US 67.  It is believed there were no serious injuries but cleaning up liquid cheese in near 100 degree heat was not fun.
