Weather Statistics For Hope For July

Despite no rain the last two weeks of July in Hope, the July rainfall and year to date rainfall are both up from normal.  Hope received 5.10 inches of rain in July against a normal 3.65 inches.  The biggest rainfall was 1.96 inches recorded on July 12th.  The southern part of the county got up to 12 inches that morning.  The last rain recorded in July came on July 17th.  Hope had received 40.95 inches of rain as of July 31st.  Normal rainfall is 31,85 which means Hope is up just over 9 inches on rainfall for July compared to normal rainfall.

Despite hot temperatures nothing approaching a record has been recorded in July.  The month saw 19 days with highs in the 90’s with the hottest day recording 97 degrees on the last day of the month.  The lowest low was 66 recorded on July 23rd, 24th, and 25th.
