Council meeting short and sweet

PRESCOTT – The August meeting for the Prescott City Council was a record, lasting barely 10 minutes.

There was no business for the council to discuss. After Jamie Hillery, executive director of the Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce gave her report, the meeting adjourned.

Hillery gave the council copies of the Chamber’s annual report, letting them know it contained information on what the Chamber had done this past year, along with the monthly report. She pointed out the fair parade is Sept. 11 and kicks off the Nevada County Fair.
