Farmers Bank & Trust, Hope Schools Host “Back to School Bash”

The Hope Public Schools in conjunction with Farmers Bank & Trust held their “Back to School Bash” at Fair Park Thursday (8-24)   The event had many activities from planting sunflower seeds to bounce houses and slides. There were hot dogs, popcorn and water handed out. The band performed as well.  Other activities included a dunking booth, cornhole and shaved ice for sale. The Arts Council was there and free children’s books were available. The Hope Bobcats and Ladycats played tennis against Camden Cardinals. Dr. JonathanCrossley said he was gratified by the attendance, and it was a good start to the year. Farmer’s Bank & Trust officials  estimated there were 2,000 people who attended the event.
