HPD makes two felony arrests

On August 25th, 2023, at approximately 11:28am, officers with the Hope Police Department arrested Jaylon Gulley, 23 of Texarkana, AR. The arrest occurred in the 300 block of South
Washington Street. Mr. Gulley was charged with Residential Burglary and Theft of Property and was held in the Hempstead County Detention Facility pending a first court appearance.

On August 27th, 2023, at approximately 4:55am, officers with the Hope Police Department arrested Jalen Brown, 26 of Hope, AR. The arrest occurred in the 800 block of Eastridge Drive.
Mr. Brown was charged with Aggravated Assault on a Family member and held at the Hempstead County Detention Facility pending a first court appearance.
