Ella Hood

Ella “Charlotte” Hood of Emmet, Arkansas, age 93, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023 in Prescott, Arkansas.  She was born on September 28, 1930 to Joseph Murry and Atrice “Allene” Hood.  Charlotte worked for the housing authority in Emmet for many years.  She was an active member of the Emmet United Methodist Church.  Over the years, she taught children’s Sunday School classes and served as the church treasurer.  She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Theresa Elizabeth Smith.

Charlotte is survived by her niece Terri Reynolds and husband Vernon of Emory, Texas.

Charlotte loved animals and her church family.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your local animal shelter or charitable organization of your choice.
