Hope Civitan Club Holding Hot Dog Sale at Atwoods Oct. 14th

    The Hope Civitan Club will be selling hot dogs and drinks on the Atwoods parking lot Saturday, October 14, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  A hot dog and a drink will cost $1 and the proceeds of the fundraiser will go toward Civitan community projects.

     Hope Civitans will also be accepting non-perishable food donations to “Scare Away Hunger!” with donations going to the Hope In Action food bank.  Dry pet food will also be accepted for donation to Hope for Paws/Hempstead County Animal Shelter.  Preferred pet foods are Purina Puppy Chow and Purina food for adult dogs.

     Everyone is invited to join the Hope Civitan Club and Atwoods, to enjoy a hot dog and a drink, and to help “Scare Away Hunger!”  The Civitan Club appreciates the opportunity given by Atwoods to their organization and to other local organizations to raise funds and have fun on the Atwoods parking lot.
